About the course:
The course is a part time course containing 16 Modules in total. You'll develop a wide variety of knowledge and practical skills in areas including darkroom work, digital photography, studio lighting, career development and project management. During the course you have the opportunity to do work experience, or take advantage of a freelance opportunity if you're not already working. If you're already working with photography, you'll be able to develop the skills you use every day at work. Whe
n you graduate you could go on to work for a wide variety of organisations in the photoimaging sector of the creative industries. Or you may choose to work as a photographer on a freelance basis. Entry requirements are usually 80 UCAS points from A levels or equivalent qualifications, such as a BTEC National Diploma, Scottish Highers etc. If you've completed an Access/Foundation course, we also accept these qualifications.

I would like to study here as it is only a short distance from home meaning, travel would not be an issue and i would be able to carry on living at home. I would also like to go to this university as i know family and friends also taking courses there. The course criteria sounds really appealing and is what i am looking for. Once i have completed my college course i think it would be really easy to get into this university looking at the expected requirements.
